The niece of the dead woman narrated the incident to NaijaCover On Facebook, while calling for justice for her mother's twin sister. According to the niece, the suspect waa in the habit of beating his wife. On  27th, the woman, Mrs Ugieki Asemota returned home from a wedding to find her husband drunk, so she had a bath and locked herself in a room to avoid getting beaten which is allegedly her husband's habit when he's drunk. However, late at night, the husband is said to have banged on her door, demanding sex but she told him to go to his room and leave her alone, NaijaCover Learnt.    Mfon Jeremiah, 39, of FIRRO Estate off Adesan, Mowe, was arrested by Ogun State Police Command for impregnating his 13-year-old biological daughter.. The suspect was apprehended in response to a report filed at Mowe divisional headquarters by the victim’s mother, who stated that she discovered her daughter was pregnant and when she inquired from the daughter, she was told that it was her father who impregnated her. The victim was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered she was four months pregnant.

    A 40-feet tanker fell off a trailer and landed on top of several cars at Barracks bustop inward Trade Fair in Lagos state today March..   According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, the 40 Feet container fell on three stationary vehicles and one tricycle with registration numbers, Toyota Yaris, black colour LSR 247 GP, grey colour Honda CRV LND 80 BS, ash SUZUKI Mini Bus KSF 904 XY and TVS green Tricycle AGL 831 QL   The agency said further investigation gathered at the scene of the incident revealed that the accident was caused due to reckless driving of the driver, hence the container lost balance and fell on the vehicles obstructing 80percent of the road.   No loss of life nor injuries were recorded at the scene of the incident.

He unfortunately fell and stuck the back of his head into an iron rod that was stuck in a block on the ground. He is said to have died afterward.      A python, swallowed a baby at Okada, Edo State. Witnesses say the snake, measuring about 10ft long, swallowed a six-month-old baby that was left abandoned outside a house. The baby was reportedly left on a mat outside, while the mother went inside. A witness, who claimed to have arrived the scene as the snake was in the process of swallowing the baby, raised an alarm. People rushed to the scene and killed the snake, but were too late to save the baby

  A woman has allegedly k!lled her younger sister with a cutlass in Enugu State.    The incident occurred in the Aji community in Enugu-Ezike in Igbo Eze North Local Government Area of the state.   It was gathered that the woman whose identity is yet to be ascertained also attempted to k!ll her mother and her younger sister’s child with the cutlass.    The victims have been rushed to Bishop Shanahan Hospital in Nsukka where they are now fighting for their lives.    Enugu media personality, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, shared one of the videos of the suspect in a Facebook post on Monday, june 16, 2025.   In one of the videos, the suspect claimed that she was possessed by a strange spirit which made her commit the dastardly act.
